HOMEMADE  CHEESEBURGER HAMBURGER HELPER
(WITHOUT THE MSG)

1-2 boxes macaroni and cheese: depending on your family size (your favorite brand on SALE)
1 pound hamburger meat
1 pack of onion gravy or 1 pack of brown gravy (store brands usually don't have MSG in them BUT read the label)
1 onion (if you are not using onion gravy OR you like alot of onion)
Butter or margarine (if mac & cheese requires butter or margarine, use 1/2 of the amount to sautee onions. If it doesn't call for butter/margarine use either for onion sautee or Olive Oil)

DIRECTIONS:
Brown hamburger meat
Prepare mac & cheese as directed
Prepare onion gravy as directed
Sautee onion in butter or margarine or Olive Oil
Mix all together
Voile'...cheeseymac hamburger helper without the MSG! ! ! Just add a salad or other vegetables for a complete meal.

ALTERNATE METHOD:
If you are using regular ground meat and have some flour, make your gravy from the ground meat and omit the packaged gravy for added savings.

ALTERNATE METHOD #2:
LEFTOVER ROAST AND SPAGHETTI NOODLES

Using the gravy mix and leftover roast (inexpensive cut boiled for 3-4 hours; juice from roast and flour can be used instead of the gravy mix)
Onions sauteed
Leftover spaghetti noodles

Make the gravy; sautee the onions; mix these and the noodles together and heat over a low flame or in a Slow Cooker.

This makes a great Stroganoff. If you add carrots, peas, and any other vegetable you wish you have a great stew!
