Woman found dead; Police looking for suspect

LANNETT, AL (WTVM) - Lanett Police are looking for the man they say murdered a woman in her home.

Around 2:00 a.m. Friday morning, police responded to 1010 East 3rd Ave in reference to a welfare check of Amanda Engelhardt.

When they got there, officers found Engelhardt lying in the floor of her bedroom in a pool of blood with a cut across her neck.

Police have a warrant out for John Alan Lisenby in connection to this case.

Lisenby is a white male and is described as being 6'4", 160 lbs, with  hazel eyes, and blonde hair.  He was last seen wearing a green Gap jacket and blue jeans.

He was reportedly driving a Gold 2007 Kia Spectra bearing Alabama tag # 12C734W and has connections in Columbus, GA and in Baltimore, Maryland.
