MIDLAND, GA (WTVM) - Hundreds of folks turned out today for a glimpse at the Saint Jude Dream Home.
The finishing touches have been put on the Midland home and families came out all day to take tours and purchased their tickets to win it.
This year, the four bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom house comes equipped with stainless steel appliances and a furnished living room.
"We're selling a lot of tickets and a lot of people have already purchased them and they're coming by just to see what the home looks like. This is their first opportunity to come inside. This gives everyone the opportunity to have a dream of owning a home that's this nice and somebody that goes through this door is going to win it," said Beth Scott, one of the organizers for the open house.
The open house is held Sundays from noon to 5 PM and during the week from 9 AM to 9 PM.
The big drawing for the Dream Home is April 18th, 2009.
