The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Tallapoosa County in east central Alabama...
Chambers County in east central Alabama...

* Until 1030 AM CDT

* At 732 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain continued across the warned area. Rainfall of two to
three inches have already occurred in some locations and another
one to two inches is expected during the next hour in some
areas. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Alexander City, Dadeville, Camp Hill, Lafayette, Stroud, La
Fayette, Jacksons' Gap, New Site, Red Level, Waverly, Cusseta,
Goldville, Denson, Sturkie, Abanda, Welch, Trammel Crossroads,
Ridge Grove, Buffalo and Jacksons Gap.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Eastern Russell County in southeastern Alabama...

* Until 1145 AM CDT

* At 939 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain continued to move across the warned area. Up to three
inches of rain have already fallen in some locations and another
one to two inches is possible during the next hour. Flash flooding
is expected to begin shortly...especially in low-lying flood prone
areas with poor drainage or near small creeks and streams.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Phenix City, Ladonia, Russell County Sports Complex, Seale,
Crawford, Uchee Creek, Fort Mitchell, Ladonia Sports Complex, Fort
Mitchell Activity Center, Phenix Drag Strip and Parkmanville.
