(WTVM) - If you frequently travel to the Augusta area you may notice some new signs along the highway.
The Georgia Department of Transportation East says the sign shop began installing the Georgia Highway 540 signs along the new section of Fall Line Freeway in Baldwin County.
You can expect this to be attached to existing routes like 88 through Sandersville and also Highway 4 in Wrens through Augusta.
The Highway 540 signs are expected to be put up in the Columbus area over the next few weeks.
