GUEST SEGMENT: Exchange Club of Columbus prepares for Foot-Long Hot Dog Jamboree

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - It is that time that many people across the Chattahoochee Valley look forward to. The Foot-Long Hot Dog Jamboree sponsored by the Exchange Club of Columbus is underway.
The Exchange Club is a service organization throughout the United States where their main project is the prevention of child abuse.
Timeout Teddy the mascot of the organization is to help remind families to “take a timeout” when situations arise between children and parents.
The organization sells the miniature Timeout Teddy Bears as a fundraiser and gives them to first responders in case they have an incident with a child.
The Foot-Long Hot Dog Jamboree will be from October 18- 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wynnbrook Bapstist Church in Columbus.
The hot dog meal is $7.50 and a single hot dog is $6.
