VIDEO: Community leaders are considering a consolidation of schools in Chambers County

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Chambers County is considering a plan that will change the future of education for students.

The Chambers County Development Authority and the Chambers County School District is considering a consolidation of schools and resources in Chambers County.

They believe it would be an opportunity to expand resources such as technology and building usage.

A video was recently posted to Facebook explaining the ‘What if” of the possible change and how it can make the community “stronger and better.”

This has been a discussion in a series of town hall meetings and they want to give every resident a chance to express their expectations and concerns about the local schools.
