COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Wild Wing Café in Columbus fed the homeless for Valentine’s Day.
Food was provided Feb. 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu include dmeatloaf, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and banana pudding.
This is the second year the restaurant has fed the homeless, and the first time feeding the homeless on Valentine’s Day.
“It means a lot to me because even though I was off today, I still came out and did it from the bottom of my heart," said Angela Montogmery, general manager of Wild Wing Cafe. "This is something that I love doing, helping people.”
Shelters provided transportation and some people rode the bus to the restaurant.
