SMITHS STATION, AL (WTVM) - A town workshop will be held in Smiths Station Monday, March 25 for residents impacted by this month’s tornadoes.
The workshop will take place at Smiths Station Baptist Church at 6 p.m. EST.
Federal and state officials along with local emergency management, Small Business Administration, American Red Cross, and other representatives will be on site to answer questions and help residents register for assistance.
“It’s very important for people who were affected by the March 3 tornadoes to attend this meeting. This will help them get plugged in and become more aware of the resources available to them during this time of rebuilding and recovery,” said City of Smiths Station Mayor Bubba Copeland.
Smiths Station Baptist Church is located at 2460 Lee Road 430.
