COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Sexual Assault Support Center in Columbus was recognized for its work Tuesday during a city council meeting.
Mayor Skip Henderson gave a proclamation to the group for the help they provide to rape victims.
The center and its staff are the first line of defense for rape victims locally. The service provided is vital.
The Sexual Assault Support Center does not limit its support to rape victims only. Services are also extended to any victim of sexual assault.
