COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Off-and-on rain showers will be the norm through early next week as a more unsettled weather pattern takes over the Valley. It won’t necessarily be heavy rain, and it won’t be raining persistently each day, but not a bad to factor in an umbrella and/or rain jacket for your weekend plans.
In addition to the chance of rain through early next week, temperatures will rise steadily into the upper 70s and low 80s as warm and more humid air holds strong across the Southeast. Expect 20-40% rain coverage through Sunday, while Monday and early Tuesday look considerably wetter and stormier (no concerns for severe weather at this time). The weather pattern finally turns drier again by the middle of next week, but temperatures remain on the balmy side, hovering around 80.
