COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Rain and storms will stick around at times through Monday night and during the afternoon and evening on Tuesday - the best practice will be to keep the umbrella around at any point tonight or tomorrow. Going into Wednesday and Thursday, rain chances will be around zero with temperatures back in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Wednesday will feature a lot of sun, but clouds will increase on Thursday ahead of the next storm system - expect a 30-40% coverage of showers and storms on Friday and Saturday, but the biggest push of rain and storms will move through on Sunday. That's a day we will keep an eye on for you for any severe weather concerns. Highs during this time will stay in the upper 70s and lower 80s. The weather starts out dry for early next week.
