COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Muscogee County School District was notified of a bomb threat made toward Jordon Vocational High School on Tuesday.
According to the school district, the threat was made by phone and has not been deemed credible or imminent at this time. School administrators were notified and took necessary precaution to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
“We will follow up on any leads that developed after the initial investigation conducted by school security,” said Greg Arp, Police Chief, Muscogee County School District.
An investigation into the bomb threat with the effort to identify the caller and source of the call is underway.
