COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The weather going into Wednesday looks great with highs back in the 80s and a mix of clouds and sun. Thursday won't be bad either - partly sunny skies with highs in the mid 80s and temperatures the next few mornings warming up from the levels we have seen so far this week. It looks like the time-frame of concern when it comes to strong to severe storms will be 12 AM ET Friday to around 10 AM ET Friday. A line of storms will move through - similar to Sunday - with the potential for wind damage and isolated, spin-up tornadoes. We'll keep an eye on it of course, and we do have an Alert Center Action Day in place. The weather will cool down in a big way going into Saturday with lows in the 40s in the morning and mid to upper 60s by the afternoon. Easter Sunday will be a warm day with highs near 80 and plenty of sunshine. The weather will continue to warm up going into early next week with dry conditions Monday and Tuesday. Our next rain chances should return by Thursday of next week.
