Thursday looks to start off partly cloudy and warm, so there won’t be any issues during the day. Towards midnight, a potent squall line will reach central Alabama, and race east into the Valley. The strong line of storms will push across the Valley 1AM-9AM ET based on current data. We will continue to narrow down timing tomorrow. Main threat is damaging wind gusts of 60MPH+, and a few spin-up tornadoes can’t be ruled out. Since this event will be overnight, its VERY important that you have a way of receiving a weather warning while you’re asleep. Derek and I will be here covering the weather here at WTVM. Lingering showers will persist Friday and possibly Saturday AM. Good news is Easter looks fantastic with comfy sunshine. Next week looks warm and dry to start as well.
