COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Muscogee County Sheriff Donna Tompkins is bringing her Easter Egg Roll back to Columbus for the fifth year.
Sheriff Tompkins says that not only is the event fun, but it also supports a good cause by raising awareness for autism.
The event will also serve as a fundraiser for Project Lifesaver, which provides equipment and armbands for autistic children who are prone to wandering , so they can be located.
Sheriff Tompkins says those coming to the event can expect more than 10,000 eggs spread across eight different hunts, bouncy houses, food and vendors.
The Easter Egg Roll is taking place, Saturday, Apr. 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the band shell area of Lakebottom Park.
