COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Tonight we are still expecting a round of severe thunderstorms with embedded areas of wind damage and the potential for tornadoes. The time-frame of greatest concern for the Chattahoochee Valley will be roughly from 1 AM to 9 AM ET. Be sure you are weather alert tonight with a way to get watches and warnings before you head to bed. If you live in a mobile home and don't have safe shelter within 5 minutes of you, you may want to think about alternate plans of a place to stay overnight. After the storms move out Friday, showers will linger through the day with cloudy, windy, and cooler conditions expected. Saturday will stay breezy and cool with isolated showers, but look for warmer and drier weather by Easter Sunday. Conditions stay warm and dry through the middle of next week with highs in low to mid 80s through Wednesday. Rain chances return by late next week.
