COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The City of Columbus is suspending the Tree for Fee service following damage caused by storms last Sunday.
City crews are still in the process of cleaning up tree debris. Damage was mostly in the Lakebottom area.
Residents who pay trash fees with their water bill will have the opportunity to place trees on the curb without charge through Friday, May 3.
Tree must be cut into lengths of four feet and must be placed on the curb side to be collected.
