COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus City Council voted unanimously Tuesday evening to bring a hockey team back to the city.

The council’s agenda says Columbus would have at least 30 home hockey games over the next five years at the Columbus Civic Center.

The agenda also says this could bring between $75,000 and $95,000 in revenue to the venue.

Some residents thinks a hockey team will bring something new for them to do.
