Infant dies following structure fire in Phenix City

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - A four-month-old infant has died following a structure fire in Phenix City.
The fire was reported at Cloverleaf Apartments in the 2800 block of Stadium Dr. at approximately 10:14 a.m. on Apr. 24.
The four-month-old was taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional for treatment of burns, but was pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital.
The case is currently under investigation and the identity of the four-month-old has not been released.
