Columbus State getting ready to graduate new group of students

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus State University is about to produce a new crop of graduates in four commencement ceremonies.

Students in the College of Education and Health Professions will be the first to graduate, but will be divided into two ceremonies.

Nursing, Kinesiology, Health Science and Health & PE students will participate in the first ceremony beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17.

Teaching, Leadership, and Counseling students in the College of Education and Health Professions will graduate on May 17 at 6:00 p.m.

The College of Arts and the College of Business will graduate their students on Saturda, May 18 at 10:00 a.m.

Students in the College of Letters and Sciences will be the last to receive their diplomas in a May 18 ceremony that begins at 2:00 p.m.

Each commencement ceremony will take place in the Frank G. Lumpkin Center on CSU’s Main Campus.

Graduate students will receive their hoods in a special Graduate Hooding ceremony taking place Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m.
