PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) is continuing its mission to help students pursue their next level of education.
A press conference was held Wednesday to announce a memorandum of understanding with Birmingham-Southern College. This marks the second agreement that CVCC has entered with a university in the past month.
President Jackie Screws said the college is aggressively seeking partnership opportunities with universities to help students easily matriculate from one institution to the next as they pursue higher education.
“This agreement enables our students to transfer all of their credits to Birmingham Southern if they complete the associates of arts and associates of science degree here,” said Screws.
CVCC is in talks with Auburn University as well as Columbus State University to finalize upcoming agreements.
