COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A ministry hosted a bridge tournament in Columbus Thursday.

Wesley Glen Ministries hosted the tournament at St. Paul Methodist Church for its auxiliary. Proceeds from the event will go towards providing transportation and resources needed for the day program and in the residential facilities.

Wesley Glen Ministries part of the South Georgia United Methodist Conference, which provides residential and adult day program services for adults who are developmentally disabled.

"Wesley Glen does appreciate and greatly need the support of many who want to come along side and help us provide a more meaningful and valuable purposeful life for those who are depending on us," said Patricia Beeber, chairman of the board for Wesley Glen Ministries.

This year was the second year the tournament has taken place.
