COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus National Scholarship Recognition Committee hosted its 10th annual National Signing Day for Scholars on Monday.
The signing day ceremony is a recognition program that honors students in Muscogee County who excel in academics. Only academic scholars who submitted an official and approved scholarship letter by the April 9 deadline were eligible to participate in the ceremony.
More than 100 students from public and private schools in Muscogee County were honored at a special annual event with WTVM’s Jason Dennis as the emcee. They signed letters, marking achievements of receiving multiple scholarships to college.
Signing took place at the auditorium in University Hall on the Columbus State University campus.
