COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Look for another beautiful day on Tuesday with highs nearing 90 and mostly sunny skies in the afternoon. As we make it to the middle of the week, however, we will be in store for some changes. Moisture levels will be on the way up, and we'll mention isolated showers and storms Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s, but will really be dependent on the coverage of showers and storms each day. The best rain chances look to be Friday through Sunday with Friday and Sunday being the wettest days with a 40-50% coverage of showers and storms. We should dry out early next week with some drier air moving in - highs will back off to more seasonable levels by then with upper 70s and lower 80s in the forecast.
