COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Lingering morning clouds will head out as a cold front finally sweeps through the Valley today, and we trade in the humid air for a nice stretch of drier weather. Rain chances look next to none in the week ahead apart from maybe a stray shower or two on Thursday.
Each day features mostly sunny skies and pleasant weather—especially early in the week. Today and Tuesday highs will top out at best in the upper 70s and low 80s, but temperatures trend warmer later in the work week with 90s a possibility by the weekend. Tuesday and Wednesday morning feature much cooler air in place with temperatures falling well into the 50s, which is below average for mid-May. Rain chances look pretty scarce over the next week, but we may see a few more showers around by NEXT Monday. Still some uncertainty regarding the weather pattern unfolding then, but for now, enjoy this nice stretch of actual springtime weather!
