Fairly typical summer-like weather is expected over the next few days with partly cloudy skies, hot & humid conditions with highs around 90, and a few PM T-Storms through Monday. After that, a massive dome of heat will build over the Southeast, with the Chattahoochee Valley being ground-zero. Strong area of high pressure will build & expand starting Monday into Tuesday, and hang around through the end of the week, eliminating any chance of rainfall. High temps will soar into upper 90s by mid week, and multiple spots crossing 100F is becoming a real possibility. Record highs are only in the upper 90s, and will be in serous jeopardy.
