Two teens injured after shooting at graduation party in Eufaula

EUFAULA, Ala. (WTVM) - Authorities say a graduation party in Eufaula ended with two teenagers being shot this weekend.

Officers first responded to reports of gunshots in the 300 block of New Fort Browder Road at approximately 1:45 AM on Saturday morning.

Upon arrival, officers determined that multiple gunshots had been fired and that two individuals had been wounded and taken to Medical Center Barbour in private vehicles.

18-year-old Christopher Dylan Dennard, of Fort Mitchell, sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the chest. Also injured was 18-year-old Kevarus Kemion Washington, of Dothan, who received a gunshot injury to the right hand. Both victims are currently in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division in Eufaula. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact authorities at 334-687-1200 or the Anonymous Tip Line at 334-687-7100.
