COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Something as simple as a nice lunchbox can mean the world to a child, and popular chain restaurant Chick-Fil-A knows it. This summer, they’re stepping up to take care of some of the less fortunate kids in our community.

For the month of July, the public can bring in a new lunchbox together with a new reusable water bottle to any Chick-fil-A and receive a free small milkshake of their flavor choice per donation (one milkshake per lunchbox with a water bottle).

The new lunchboxes will be given to local foster children for their upcoming school year.

Leaders say the benefit is a great way to give back to your community and enjoy a free sweet treat!

The benefit is taking place at all Chick-fil-A stores in Columbus and Phenix City for the rest of this month.

Here is a great way to give back to your community and enjoy a sweet treat!
