Ala. HS football player airlifted after suffering head injury

BILLINGSLEY, Ala. (WSFA) - A Loachapoka High School football player was airlifted from the school’s game Friday night with a head injury.

According to Loachapoka High School Principal Albert Weeden Jr., one of the players suffered a concussion and was airlifted from the game. The Indians were taking on Billingsley High School.

Weeden confirmed the player was not diagnosed with a neck injury.
