Valley middle school principal placed on paid leave

VALLEY, Ala. (WTVM) - A middle school principal in Valley has been placed on paid leave while an investigation into allegations against her is conducted.

Dr. Frankie Bell is the principal at W.F. Burns Middle School in Valley.

Chambers County School District Superintendent Dr. Kelli Hodge released a statement saying,

Dr. Bell was placed on paid leave while an investigation is being conducted into allegations which have been made. It is customary for us to place employees on paid leave while investigations are being conducted. There is no hearing of any kind set for today or for any time in the future.

There is no word at this time on the type of allegations that were made against Dr. Bell.
