National Infantry Museum in Columbus hosts paver dedication ceremony in honor of Veterans Day

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The National Infantry Museum in Columbus hosted special events all day Monday for veterans.

A special paver dedication ceremony was held on Heritage Walk at 10 a.m. The dedication was for commemorative pavers installed since Memorial Day. Comm. Sgt. Maj. Robert Fortenberry of the U.S. Army Infantry was the guest speaker.

The ceremony was followed by a moment of silence, self-guided tours, and an official flag retirement ceremony.
