Students celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Thomas H. Brewer in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Faculty and students of Brewer Elementary School in Columbus are celebrating the life and legacy of a civil rights leader.
All month long, students will learn about Dr. Thomas H. Brewer, for whom the school is named after, and all his accomplishments. A ceremony was held Wednesday to show what they have learned so far.
Several special guests were in attendance, including, Columbus Mayor Skip Henderson.
