Auburn University assistant coach is recovering after car crash

This morning, an Auburn University assistant basketball coach is recovering in the hospital.

AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) - This morning, an Auburn University assistant basketball coach is recovering in the hospital after a car accident that happened over the weekend in Auburn.

According to Auburn athletics, the assistant basketball coach, Marquis Daniels, is now in the hospital. The hospital where he is having treatment is located in Birmingham.

Daniels currently works as Director of Player Development for the Auburn Men’s Basketball Team. Prior to his current position, he also played for the Tigers in the early 2000′s. After, he played for the NBA for a whole decade.
