HARRIS COUNTY, Ga. (WTVM) - Harris County school buses will be equipped with new emergency kits.
125 Stop the Bleed trauma kits were provided by Harris County Emergency Management and the bus drivers will receive training on how to use the kits in January 2020.
Some contents of the kits include gauze pads, gloves, trauma shears. And rolls of tape. The Stop the Bleed Response Program is designed to help teachers, nurses, staff, and bus drivers learn how to handle potentially life-threatening medical situations.
