HARRIS COUNTY, Ga. (WTVM) - Hwy. 27 in Harris County has reopened after two hours of closure from an accident followed by an oil spill.
A truck slid off the road into the trees on Hwy. 27 between Gray Rock Rd. and West Bon Acre.
Diesel oil spilled out of the truck into the surrounding forest, causing a safety hazard.
A follow-up accident occurred between two cars trying to avoid the truck.
Police say there are no reported injuries at this time.
