Two-time 6A state championship coach Patrick Nix leaving Pinson Valley for Central-Phenix City
We are less than 48 hours away from the 84th Iron Bowl and former Auburn Quarterback Patrick Nix says this week is a busy one for him and his family.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Pinson Valley principal Michael Turner told WBRC FOX6 Tuesday morning that head football coach Patrick Nix is leaving for Central-Phenix City.

Nix’s resignation is pending approval from the Jefferson County Board of Education.

Nix, who has spent the past three years at Pinson Valley, led the Indians to back-to-back 6A state championships in 2017 and 2018.
