UPDATE: Power restored to nearly 1,000 north Columbus residents

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Power has been restored to nearly 1,000 Georgia Power customers in north Columbus.

According to Georgia Power’s Outage Map, 910 customers in the area of Double Churches Rd. were without power.

There is no word at this time on the cause of the power outage.
