UPDATE: Victim in shooting on Belmont St. in Columbus ID’d as 16-year-old male

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A teen is dead following a shooting on Belmont Street near 6th Avenue. in Columbus Friday afternoon.
According to Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley, the victim is 16-year-old Lamarion Wright. His cause of death is being listed as a gunshot wound.
Lamarion’s body will be sent to Atlanta for an autopsy.
Authorities have not arrested suspects.
The suspects involved in this case are two males between the ages of 15 to 20 years old, between 150 and 160 pounds.
