COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The victim of a deadly shooting near 39th St. and 16th Ave. in Columbus has been identified.
32-year-old Jeremy Robert Sewell was shot and killed in the 4100 block of 16th Ave.
Officers were dispatched to the area just before 8:00 p.m. where Sewell was found unresponsive and suffering a gunshot wound.
EMS units attempted to resuscitate Sewell, but were unable to do so. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan pronounced him dead at approximately 8:45 p.m.
There is no word on any suspects at this time.
