COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Thousands of residents on the Georgia side of the Chattahoochee Valley are currently without power.
As of 3:30 a.m., Georgia Power reported approximately 2,209 residents are without power in the Chattahoochee Valley
More than 600 of those residents live in the Waverly Hall area and approximately 1,000 of those live near County Line Rd. and Central Church Rd. in Midland.
Diverse Power is reporting that 88 of their Georgia residents are experiencing outages, meaning a total of 2,297 residents on the Georgia side of the Chattahoochee Valley are without power.
Crews are working to restore power to these residents, but there is no word on an expected time for it to return.
