COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A tournament to name Columbus' new baseball team is supposed to be down to just four, but officials say the last round was too close to call.

In the first round of the tournament-style contest to determine a name, 16 potential names were put on the roster.

That was narrowed down to eight and now we need to set the final ballot.

The final ballot will now have four potential names.

Three names were said to be clear winners and move forward to the final round of four: Fountain City Flamingos, Columbus Comets and Columbus Chat-A-Hoots.

Three other names, and two new ones, are on a new semifinal ballot to determine which name will take over the last spot on the final ballot.

Columbus Cannons, Columbus Cuckoos and Columbus Scrambledogs remain on the semifinal ballot. New names were proposed by the Team President and Team Ownership. Those are Columbus Phenix and Columbus Diamond Dragons.
