COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - One Columbus family walked into their new home Thursday, thanks to a local organization.
Habitat for Humanity handed the keys over to John and Mary Mullins.
Members of Habitat for Humanity showed the Mullins family around their three-bedroom, one-bathroom house. The new homeowners said they are now ready to enjoy their new home. '
“I’m looking forward to finally getting in it and settle down in it. I’m just a little anxious,” said Mary Mullins.
“I’m just looking forward to relax and enjoy the home,” John Mullins said.
A ribbon-cutting and prayer ceremony was also held for the family.
