COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A changeable holiday week is on the way for the Chattahoochee Valley. Tonight’s cold front passage will not be accompanied by any rain, but the drop in temps will be noticeable. Only in the middle and upper 60s for highs both Monday and Tuesday, compared to 70s this past weekend. The all important travel day on Wednesday will be rather wet for sure, right now it seems like the afternoon on Wednesday will have 60-70% coverage of Rain/Storms. We are not expecting anything severe, but a stronger storm or two is possible. Plan on having the umbrella and rain jacket ready to go! Temps will be in the low 70s both Wednesday and on Thanksgiving, pretty warm but not record breaking. Now we hope to kick this storm system out in time for the Turkey dinner, but we can’t rule out a shower or two even on Thursday. However, no where near as wet as Wednesday is the good news. Beyond Thanksgiving, a more significant cool down is possible into the following week to start off December, we will iron out the forecast throughout the week! Enjoy!
