COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - We start off the work week mostly sunny, cool, and dry with highs in the mid 60s across the Chattahoochee Valley. We will be breezy at times over the next couple of days with winds around 5-10 mph behind a front that moved through overnight. By Wednesday, we will see the rain coverage come back into the forecast with about a 60% coverage of rain in the afternoon and overnight hours. There could be a strong storm or two in the mix with the rain, but most of us should just be seeing showers. By Thursday we should dry out by the lunchtime hour to make for a beautiful Thanksgiving day with highs in the 70s and mostly sunny skies. Black Friday looks great for shopping too with only a slim chance at a shower or two and partly cloudy conditions. Our next big rain maker after that won’t come until Sunday or Monday when another front brings some showers and storms ahead of it.
