AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - A man wanted in connection to an Americus homicide was arrested, according to the Americus Police Department
Eric Romone Lewis, 37, was wanted for the murder of Kedrick Deon Williams, 35 on Nov. 25, according to law enforcement.
Lewis was arrested by the Henry County Police Department during a traffic stop, police said.
He is being held in the Henry County Jail and is awaiting transfer to Sumter County.
Lewis is charged with murder, according to police.
Williams was found dead in the 100 block of Lester Street.
Police did not say when Lewis’ arrest happened.
