COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The City of Columbus is preparing to buy five remote courtroom cameras before jury trials restart in January.
The cameras will allow the public to watch the trials in satellite rooms at the government center to limit the number of people in one place at a time.
The goal is to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 while resuming a vital part of the judicial process.
