COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Recorder’s Court in Columbus is extending postponements until after March 1 for traffic and environmental court.
People will still get their notice in the mail. There is a COVID-19 amnesty program which will allow you to get 50 percent off traffic tickets which will go through Feb. 26.
“We are continuing to do jail and arrest cases of course, however we are rescheduling at this time any traffic and environmental cases until March 1st,” said Clautretta Williams, chief clerk of Recorder’s Court.
Traffic tickets can still be paid inside and by drive-thru.
