RiverCenter hosts local blood drive on January 13th

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - In partnership with the American Red Cross, RiverCenter will host a blood drive on Wednesday, January 13 from 2:00-7:00 PM, at 900 Broadway in Columbus, GA.

To schedule an appointment to give blood, call 1-800-Red-Cross or visit http://www.redcrossblood.org/ and enter sponsor code: rivercenter.

Participating donors will receive a long-sleeved Red Cross t-shirt (while supplies last) and be registered to win a Char-Broil grill, donated by the W.C. Bradley Company, valued at $499.

Additionally, News Leader 9 is partnering with American Red Cross for an all day blood donation drive telethon on Wednesday, January 13th.

Throughout the day, WTVM will encourage viewers to schedule an appointment to donate blood, to donate convalescent plasma, and to make monetary donations to The Red Cross. You can find more information about the event HERE.
