COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - After a dreary and chilly Monday across the region, we have some improvements to talk about in the next couple of days. Rain showers move out after midnight and we are left with mostly cloudy skies for our Tuesday, as temps make a run at the middle 50s finally. Tuesday’s sky cover will be rather cloudy, but a few peaks of sunshine are possible by late afternoon. A dry Wednesday and Thursday is also in store with closer to average high temps with upper 50s to near 60 degrees. A passing shower is possible Friday before yet another push of colder air for the upcoming weekend , with 40s and low 50s for highs. The next week will also feature multiple chances of seeing below freezing lows, so many of you will need to crank that heat, and warm up those cars in the mornings.
